Learn Mountain Music!

We are the Mountain School of Strings

We've been teaching kids in Transylvania County since 2010, providing free and low-cost youth classes and camps in mountain heritage music.

Classes

Kids can learn fiddle, guitar, banjo, autoharp or bass at eight locations across Transylvania County.

Support our mission
